Proscenic Floobot X1 Wins the Prestigious Red Dot Award for Innovative Design

We are thrilled to announce that our latest creation, the Floobot X1 robot vacuum cleaner, has won the prestigious Red Dot Award for Product Design 2023. The Floobot X1 is a revolutionary robot mopping vacuum with a self-empty base to provide efficient and deep cleaning for your home. It has undergone thousands of modifications and tests by our designers and engineers.

The Proscenic Floobot X1 has been designed with the user in mind to offer an innovative, user-friendly, and effective cleaning experience. This robot vacuum cleaner has advanced features like a sonic mopping system, a self-empty base with a UV sterilization light, PathPro™ laser-assisted navigation, and ultrasonic carpet recognition. These features make cleaning more efficient and effective.

Proscenic Floobot X1’s laser sensor is creatively integrated into the vacuum body to protect it from dust and water stains, solving a common problem in traditional top-mounted laser vacuums. Also, this compact design allows the vacuum to reach under the low-profile furniture easily. The self-empty base collects dirt and debris from the vacuum, saving you from emptying the dustbin for 30 days. The dust cabinet is equipped with a UV sterilization light, which inhibits the proliferation of bacteria and molds, preventing the spread of diseases and smelliness.

Red Dot In search of good design and innovation

With around 20,000 entries per year, the Red Dot Design Award is one of the biggest design competitions in the world. In 2023, products were submitted and evaluated in 51 competition categories. A jury of 43 members came together to do so. They reached their verdict on which of the product design entries met the criteria for a Red Dot award on the basis of the four principles of good design and by taking into account their socio-cultural character, specific technical focus area, and design expertise. True to the motto, “In search of good design and innovation,” only the best designs receive an award.

Floobot X1 in exhibitions, online, and in the yearbook

The Floobot X1 can be found in the online exhibition on Red Dot’s website from June 19, 2023. The devices will also be included in the “Design on Stage” exhibition until May 2024 in the Red Dot Design Museum Essen in Germany, showcasing all the award-winning products. The Red Dot Design Yearbook will come out in August 2023. The publication provides a comprehensive overview of the state of the art and trends in product design.
